Mashhor General Contractor Sdn Bhd received an international award from the British Safety Council, one of the world's leading health and safety organisations in the United Kingdom.

Two Mashhor representatives, Syarifah Safina and Malai Haji Ahmad Faris, who received the award on behalf of the Mashhor top management, attended the award presentation in Grosvenor House in London on May 21.

The British Safety Council International Safety Award is awarded following rigorous and independent assessment of an organisation's health and safety policies and procedures by an adjudication panel from United Kingdom.

For an organisation to win the award, it must provide evidence that it has comprehensive health and safety policies in place. It is important that the winning organisation is able to demonstrate the competence of those responsible for the management of health and safety and can provide clear evidence about the improvements they have achieve in health and safety during the year and which Mashhor has achieved and presented.
