This stand-down aims to raise awareness and identify additional controls on the activities which are immediately impacted by monsoon caused by:
- strong winds,
- water on the vessels decks and
- added motion of the vessels.
Actions include:
Conduct a stand-down with all staff on-board and Document same to ensure Crew Change handover is covered.
Green Helmet and First Timers offshore, Please ensure Buddy system and additional awareness briefing.
Prepare a vessel specific MOC for onset of monsoon (Number of pointers are available in the Slides)
Crew joining over the next couple of months to review the slides and the relevant aspects of the vessel specific MOC as part of their on-boarding and sign the commitment page to confirm understanding.
